My settlement was a part of Podolsk region, but since July, 2012 it is a part Moscow. The history of my Native Land is not very long, but important. Podolsk region is one of the largest industrial and agrocultural area of Moscow region.



The history of our village began in the past
Our village connects with temple Voznesenie, which is situated in the village Satino-Russkoe. In XIX century Satino-Russkoye was larger than Kurilovo. It is clear, because church was a cultural centre in that time. At the beginning of the 19th century Sitnikova was owned who was living in it. The first school was by the church and it was built by Ann Voinovoy, who was a land-owning lady of Kurilovo in 1900. She has done a lot for the village and the church. In 1915 there was a shelter for orphan children which was famous all over the country. Unfortunately in 1920s it was closed.
At the begining of XX centure
From inhabitants we know that in 1930s began to work car-tractor station (MTS). MTS had about 50 tractors. Also it had canteen and bathhouse. During the World War II the head of the MTS was Fateev Grigory Semenovich. The building of MTS was wooden and it was situated on the other side of the road where houses 2 and 4 of Central street are now. Director of MTS in 50-th years of twenty century was Navak. At those years MTS was reformed and given to post office 710 and a workshop was opened, where wheel traction for lorries were produced and also the produced thermometer’s cases. The head of such producing was Navak.

From these years the population of our settle begins to grow up. A lot of new own houses appeared in that time. In 1966 Kurilivo’s factory of motor-car repairng was opened. Since this time the population of the settlement has been growing.The villiagers began built houses using wood from old MTS.The main population were inhabitants from Braynsk and Rayzan region.

In 1966 Kurilovo's motor-car repairing plant was organized. It was made on the base of the workshop Veterinary Instrument Ministry of Agriculture of USSR according to the order of Mosoblispolkoma.

The plant had united industrial economic complex which consisted of: 1) manufacture of repair automobile models such as “RAF”, “UAZ”, “Volga”, “Moskvich”;
2) manufacture of all modification and aggregation for them; 3) manufacture of sewing of covers which connected with automobile’s repair; 4) manufacture of other products, which had great importance for all country: drinking bowl for birds, containers for children’s milk bottles, components for computer’s desks.

Since 1973 till 1989 the plant had 1200 units of removable contracture, and also had production of 17 transport departments which were serving medical-prophilactic region’s institutions. It had part-time farm which produced cattle breeding and plant cultivation’s production.There were 10 departments in which 2 main shops and 3 supplementary shops were situated.

Industrial buildings are situated in buildings with chief walls made of brick and warehouses of metal. It provided the production and storage of goods and raw materials, this complex provided heat supply by production facilities, it cleaned water from the industrial waste and also it made normal sanitary terms work and rest for staff. Factory team was a winner of competitions in region for long time; it has got prizes and money awards.

Since 1990s factory began to live newly as a lot of enterprises of our country. Now we haven’t as a big factory as it was early. But some workshops are working now. LLC (Limited Liability Company), “World of fish”, “Fraty” and production of oil are situated on the territory of the factory.

In September 2002 Mosfilm shot the film named “Moscow windows” in the factory. Workers from factory and pupils from school were in episodes.

Kindergarden was opened more than 25 years ago. Korkach Lidia Petrovna has been working as a head of it almost for 22 years.


In 1994 the new school was open.

In 2007 the House of the Culture “Elegy” was solemnly opened.




In 1996 the building of police station was solemnly open.


In 2007 the enterprise for assembly the plumber was opened. It has a beautiful building, well-groomed territory and new workers pleases for inhabitants of village.
